  The Georgia Rush has an outstanding Recreational program.  We use the term "Developmental" synonymously with what many programs call "recreational.” 

The GA Rush Recreational program provides an opportunity for kids to play soccer in the age groups U-5 through U-15.  Focus on providing each child with a well-rounded soccer experience.  The goal is to develop skill at all player positions and assist each child reach their best potential.  This program is not about winning or losing games.  Our purpose is for the children to develop new friendships and to have FUN. Sportsmanship and learning the game are important.  Teams are coached by trained Parent Coaches.  In addition to offering State of GA licenses for all coaches, each team is given a curriculum to use during the season.With coaches training in addition to extra player development clinics offered by our professional Rush coaching staff, our goal is to develop each player to their utmost potential.

Each participant gets to register and sign up for the practice time that best suits their schedule.

PEE-WEE & PRE-ACADEMY PROGRAMS
 (ADVANCED RECREATIONAL SOCCER) (ages 5-8)

Pre-Academy (Boys & Girls ages 7 and 8)

Registration is now open!!  At Georgia Rush, we are always seeking to enhance our programs in the pursuit of “Soccer Excellence”.  As such we are excited to launch our NEW Pre-Academy Soccer Program in the Spring of 2012.  The program will offer an opportunity for emerging players to work with Georgia Rush Technical Consultant, Martin Clark.

In the Fall of 2011, Georgia Rush retained the services of Martin Clark to primarily focus on the  “Technical Player Development” of our Academy Players.  The response from the players and parents has been tremendous as a new appreciation for formative soccer education begins to unfold.  Coach Clark has over 30 years coaching experience.  He has coached in more than 15 countries at all levels of the game including Professional clubs and National Federations.

The new program, look and feel, will offer a much more structured and supportive platform for all our rising players to enjoy fun and success from a serious learning experience.

Pee-Wee Academy (Boys ahd Girls ages 5 & 6) 

Pee-Wee Academy  is a unique program for players who are ready to take the next step in developing soccer skills, to prepare them for Select Academy soccer.  Both Professional Trainers and Parent Coaches work with the players implementing the “Player Intelligence” training curriculum designed especially for this soccer program.

Spring 2012 brings the exciting repeat of our very successful program, PEE-WEE Academy, to include our dedicated 5 & 6 year olds who are eager to advance quickly to the next level of soccer!

Boys divisions: U9, U11, U13, U15, and High School! ("U" stands for "Under") 
Age as of 9/1/2011.

Season starts February 29 and ends April 28 .
Practices begin week of February 6.

U9B - U15B -$285 includes a uniform; $245 without a uniform(same uniform as Fall 2011)
HSB  - $385 includes a uniform; $345 without a uniform(same uniform as Fall 2011)

Two practices a week 

Be a part of you player's athletic experience and volunteer to be a Coach! The reward is truly awesome!
Player evaluations for age groups with more than one team will take place before season begins.

U9 Bantam (Grades 2 & 3 - Max of 24 players) - Wed & Fri 5-6:30pm
U11 Lightning (Grades 4 & 5- Max of 36 players) - Wed 5:30-7pm & Fri 5-6:30pm
U13 Junior (Grades 6 & 7- Max of 36 players) - Tue & Thur  5-6:30pm
U15  Senior (Grades 7 & 8- Max of 36 players) - Tues & Thur 5:30-7pm
HS (Grades 9-12- Max of 36 players) - Tues & Thur 5:30-7pm

YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL
(Co-ed, Ages 5yrs.-15yrs.)


Youth Recreational Football League: 
Stars is proud to offer Flag Football for the 2011/2012  season.  The purpose of this league is to introduce players to the fun sport of Flag Football, and to teach players the basic fundamentals of football through practice, drills and games. All games will be held outside.  All our teams are Parent Volunteer Coached. Please consider volunteering to help your child’s team!  Parent volunteers will receive complimentary Coaching shirt and need to attend a brief instructional session. You can do this when you register on line or call the office for more information – 678.366.9008.

PRACTICE TIME: 2:00 PM (45 minutes), GAME TIME: 2:45 PM
Games consist of: 2 x 20min. half’s, with a 5 min. halftime

SEASON BEGINS: Sunday, DECEMBER 11, 2011
SEASON ENDS: Sunday, FEBRUARY 26, 2012
(No sessions on December 25 or January 1)

COST: $140
(10 WEEK SEASON)
