YOUTH RECREATIONAL SOCCER PROGRAM (Ages 4-14)

The Georgia Rush has an outstanding Recreational program. We use the term "Developmental" synonymously with what many programs call "recreational.”
The GA Rush Recreational program provides an opportunity for kids to play soccer in the age groups U-5 through U-15. Focus on providing each child with a well-rounded soccer experience. The goal is to develop skill at all player positions and assist each child reach their best potential. This program is not about winning or losing games. Our purpose is for the children to develop new friendships and to have FUN. Sportsmanship and learning the game are important. Teams are coached by trained Parent Coaches. In addition to offering State of GA licenses for all coaches, each team is given a curriculum to use during the season.With coaches training in addition to extra player development clinics offered by our professional Rush coaching staff, our goal is to develop each player to their utmost potential.
Each participant gets to register and sign up for the practice time that best suits their schedule.

INFORMATION:
- Georgia Rush trained Parent Coach for every team- GA Rush Youth Recreational Soccer is a PARENT VOLUNTEER COACHED Program.
- U5-U12 Divisions- Practice once a week for one hour; U15 Division- Practice once a week for 1 hour and a half
- U5-U12 Divisions-PRACTICE TIME: 5:00PM – 6:00PM
- U15 Divisions- PRACTICE TIME: 5:00PM – 6:30PM
- GAMES ARE PLAYED on: Saturdays
- Individual award at the end of the season
- PRACTICES BEGIN: the week of FEBRUARY 27, 2012
- GAMES/SEASON BEGINS: Saturday, MARCH 10
- SEASON ENDS: Saturday, MAY 12 Grand Finale/SPRING FLING FESTIVAL

- U5 Division – U8 Division- $165 plus $30 uniform cost (if needed)

Research has shown that the more interest you show in your child’s activities the more interest your child will show in that activity! Please volunteer to be a Parent Coach! Georgia Rush offers training classes for all interested Parents in the basics of the game of soccer and will provide detailed soccer curriculum for all parents who are “uncomfortable” doing their thing. Please consider volunteering to be a Coach so you can enjoy the nurturing a fulfillment that comes with teaching young minds to do new things.
