Winter indoor recreational and competitive soccer is a great way to keep your soccer skills “HOT” with fast action and sharp skills!

Recreational League
4v4  $99 (includes t-shirts and awards)

U6 (ages 4 & 5) Coed – Friday – 5-6 pm
U8 (ages 6 & 7) Coed – Wednesday – 5-6 pm
U10/U11 (ages 8, 9 & 10) Boys – Monday – 6-7 pm

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT SKILLS CLINICS:
$99 per player
Winter player developmental clinics are designed for players of all levels.  Improve soccer ball handling skills, and develop technical and tactical strategies with our Georgia Rush Professional Coaching Staff!

U10/U11 Girls Clinic – Thursday 5-6 pm
U10/U11 Boys Clinic – Monday 5-6 pm

LITTLE STARS SOCCER:
$145 per 10 week session
This “Little Stars” program is for children 3 and 4 years of age.  It is a progressive soccer program that teaches our youngest players all of the elementary soccer skills needed to get to the next level.

Monday 10-11 am or 3-4 pm
Thursday 10-11 am or 3-4 pm

WINTER INDOOR LACROSSE: (November 15 through January 29)

$85 per person ($95 after Nov 11)

Winter indoor lacrosse is a light-contact league playing on the indoor SportTurf at Stars Athletic Club!  This is a GAME ONLY league with USL certified referees.  Sign up early as Space is Very Limited!

Young Guns (grades 3,4 & 5) - 7v7 - Wednesday – 6-8 pm
Middle Schoolers (grades 6,7 & 8) - 7v7 – Tuesday – 6-9 pm
High School Boys  - play 6v6 – Wednesday -8-10 pm & Sundays 2-4 pm

Competitive Winter Indoor Rules


Policy

-          No cleats allowed on fields. - Turfs, indoor flats, or tennis shoes only.

-          Shin guards are required and must be covered.

-          No food on the field at any time.

-          No spectators on field.

-          No alcohol permitted in The Soccer Barn.

-          Drinks allowed in designated areas.

-          NO  PETS ALLOWED!!

-         RESCHEDULINGAny team needing to reschedule a game must notify the club and the opponent team within 72 hours of their match. The team that needs to reschedule will be responsible for contacting the opponent team in a timely manner with the available reschedule dates given by the office. They will be responsible for any referee fees incurred if they do not notify on time.

 

GAME

-          All games will begin on time, no delays will be allowed for any reason.

-          Games consist of 2 – 24 minute halves with a 5-minute half time.

-          Teams must have at least 5 players (for 7v7) or 6 players (for 8v8) on field to start game.

o   After 10 minutes the game is forfeited / 10 minutes comes off game time.

-          The game clock is continually running, with 5 minutes between games.

 

Dead Ball

-          Any ball crossing the outside lines completely is out and a kick-in follows.

-          Any ball hitting the top netting is still in play unless it results in a goal without touching the goalie or field players.

-          Another player must touch an out of bounds ball, kicked in, before scoring.

 -          Goal kicks must drop in or touch a player before the half line or ball is restarted at half line by the other team.

-          Goalkeeper has 6 seconds to release the ball from his/her hands or other team is rewarded with a free indirect kick from the spot of infraction.

-          All free kicks are indirect.

-          No Offside

 

Substitutions

-          Subs can be made on any dead ball by calling sub to the referee.

o   Unless referee feels that the substitution will take an advantage away from the team in possession.

-          No subs the last 2 minutes of each half

 

Fouls

-          No slide tackling or sliding for field players.

-          Yellow-carded player is required to sit out for 2 minutes and that team must play short for those 2 minutes.

-          2nd yellow or 1st red card; player sits the remainder of the game and that team plays short the remainder of the game.

-          Foul language offense results in automatic yellow card.

o   2 Yellow cards = Red card

-          Fighting is not tolerated.

o   Players involved will be terminated from the game and the facility.

 

Rosters

- Any player that plays for your team must be on your registered roster. In the event of a roster discrepancy your team will forfeit the game. The Referee, Field Marshall or any administrative staff of The Soccer Barn, reserves the right to check your players, and rosters at any time.

 

Playoffs – In case of ties there will be two 5 minute overtimes with a Golden Goal; if no score, each team will have 3 PK’s, then it will go to 1-1 PK’s.

Rules for Stars Indoor Lacrosse

NO CLEATS ALLOWED ON BARN TURF: Only turf shoes and sneakers.

·        Players may find running shoes uncomfortable after long play on turf.

·        It will be chilly in the Barn. Players and parents remember to dress warmly.

·         Keep your sticks warm. DO NOT STORE STICKS IN CAR OR GARAGE!

Game Play

·        Games will consist of two 17 minute, running time, halves with a 2 minute break between halves. Time will begin at the scheduled game time whether players are ready or not!

·        7 players per team on the field at Middle School (6th-8th grade) and Young Guns (3rd-5th grade) levels. One must be a goalie, properly equipped (Goalie stick, chest pad, and throat guard).

·        6 players per team on the field at High School level. One must be a goalie, properly equipped (Goalie stick, chest pad, and throat guard).

·        No Long poles, only short sticks and one goalie stick allowed.

·        Games will be played with soft lacrosse balls. No hard Indoor or outdoor balls allowed in the Barn.

·        Tie game result in a Braveheart.

·        All players should play an equal amount. All substitutions “on the fly.”

NFHS Lacrosse rules will apply except:

All decisions of the referee and Field Marshall are final! Rules may be interpreted to mitigate hazardous and dangerous play. See note at bottom of page.

            Checking:

o   No take-out checks are permitted by any player. A take-out check is defined as any check in which the payer lowers his head or shoulder with the force and intent to put the other player on the ground. Player may make contact in an upright position within five yards of the ball.

o   No body checking along the sideline or end line. Picks and screens are OK.

Shots and Sidelines:

o   Balls bouncing off of screens and boards landing in the field of play are “live balls” and playable. Balls rolling out of bounds or landing out after bouncing off screen or normal boards normal possession rules apply.

o   Wing Midfielders will be off the field between the restraining lines until the whistle begins play (There are no Wing Midfielders at high school level).

o   Other players will remain behind the restraining lines until possession is called.

Faceoff/Draw:

o   One faceoff at beginning of each half. After a goal, ball given to goalie; play resumes on referee’s whistle.

Offside:

o   Teams must have 1 player in their defensive half of the field at all times.

Penalties:

o   Running time for penalties beginning on referee’s whistle or when penalized player kneels in penalty area between benches whichever is later.

ALL REFEREE AND FIELD MARSHALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL!
